C. Residents are allowed up to three (3) guests at one time. Resident must be present at all times and part of the group playing on the court.
D. Persons under age 16 may not be on the courts without a supervising adult.
E. Proper court shoes required. Cleats or soles that will mark or damage the court surface are prohibited.
F. Non-players must remain outside the fenced court areas.
G. The following items are NOT allowed on the courts at any time: pets, food, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, chairs or wheeled objects including bikes, scooters, strollers, and skateboards. Wheelchairs and pickleball ball machines with wheels are allowed.
H. Players shall clean up after themselves using nearby trash receptacles.
I. Order of Play/Open Play
1. The courts use a paddle rack reservation system. Those waiting shall place their paddles in the paddle rack in the first available open slots. The next players on the court will be determined by paddle positions in the paddle rack.
2. Paddles in the paddle rack are shifted left-to-right when incoming players take the court to open up slots for waiting players to place their paddles.
3. Play is on a rotational basis (4 on/4 off).
4. Games are played to 11 points, win by 2.
5. All players must vacate the court at the end of a game or 20 minutes if drilling.
6. The next waiting group will take the vacated court.
7. Groups of 3 or fewer players without a full complement for a doubles game may only hold a court for a maximum of 5 minutes. In that time, if partners have not been found or a game started, they must relinquish the court to the next waiting group. However, they may continue to hold their place in the paddle rack while searching for a 4th player. It is kindly asked that players be courteous of others and volunteer to play in these situations to help keep play moving on the courts.
8. If a foursome has 1, 2, or 3 paddles in front of them and wishes NOT to split up their foursome, they do not have to. Instead, they should place their paddles in the second slot on the paddle rack accordingly, and newer arriving players may place their paddle(s) in front of them.
9. To maximize available courts, no singles play should be initiated while multiple players are waiting for court time. If singles play is already in progress when multiple waiting players arrive, finish the active game and vacate the courts for the next players with paddles in the paddle rack.
